How to Obtain Fossils

How to Revive Fossils

Crafting the Fossil Machine

Now that you have collected one or multiple fossils, you can now go ahead and start reviving them. You will however need to craft 3 separate machines in order to start this process. You'll need to specifically make a Fossil Analyzer, Data Monitor and a Restoration Tank. Recipe's for these are shown below:

Fossil Analyzer

4x Cobbled Deepslate, 2x Iron Ingot, 1x Redstone, 1x Glass, 1x Amethyst SHard

Data Monitor

5x Iron Ingot, 2x Copper Ingot, 1x Redstone Torch & 1x Glass

Restoration Tank

3x Iron Ingot, 4x Glass, 1x Composter & 1x Revive

Once you have crafted each of these items you'll now need to place them in a particular order. You will want to place the Fossil Analyzer on the floor and place the Data Monitor on top of it in which you can then place the Restoration Tank to the right of it.

Your machine should look as it is shown below:

Fossil Machine Setup

Organic Material to Power Machine

You can't just place a fossil into the machine and wait for it to finish, you'll need some fuel for it to work. You'll be able to use any form of Organic Material in order to power up your machine which can range from seeds, food, mob drops, bee nests to even max revives. Each Oraganic Material has their own value with how much they'll power up your machine i.e. Pumpkin Seeds will only give you 1 point compared to a Max Revive which will give you 64.

We'd suggest you use Max Revives or Dragon's Breath as they're both easy to craft as well as purchasable from /shop

Operating the Fossil Machine

Now that you have all the items needed to revive a fossil lets go over the process. You will want to Right Click onto the Fossil Analyzer which will place our fossil inside of the machine. From there you will want to power your machine with Organic Materials. Once you have given your machine enough materials it should power on and look how it is shown below:

Fossil Machine during Revive Process

From there it's ultimately just a waiting game. This process will take roughly 10 minutes but you'll know once it's complete as your machine should look similar to the screenshot shown below:

Reviving Process Complete in Fossil Machine

All you need to to now is Right Click onto the Fossil Machine with the Pokeball you wish to have your Pokemon in and it'll instantly go into your party or PC and that's the whole process. If you wish to revive more fossils you will need to keep giving it Organic Materials per fossil.

Gen 8 Fossil Pokemon (Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish & Arctovish)

For the Gen 8 Fossil Pokemon you will need to combine two different fossils in order to gain one of these pokemon unlike all other fossils which you only need the one. It's the same process when you Right Click onto the Fossil Machine to place it in, you'll just need to do it again for the corresponding Pokemon you want.

You can use the table below to know which Fossil Combinations are needed for the Respective Pokemon:

  • Dracozolt [Electric/Dragon] ~ Fossilized Drake + Fossilized Bird

  • Arctozolt [Electric/Ice] ~ Fossilized Dino + Fossilized Bird

  • Dracovish [Water/Dragon] ~ Fossilized Drake + Fossilized Fish

  • Arctovish [Water/Ice] ~ Fossilized Dino + Fossilized Fish
