### Important Notes about the Server

* You'll want to join our server on a compatible fabric or forge launcher. We have [guides](https://wiki.mmorealms.gg/how-to-install-cobblemon-modrinth-and-curseforge) for both [**Modrinth**](https://wiki.mmorealms.gg/how-to-install-cobblemon-modrinth-and-curseforge/modrinth) and [**Curseforge**](https://wiki.mmorealms.gg/how-to-install-cobblemon-modrinth-and-curseforge/curseforge) for now players to be able to join the server easily. We suggest you **use Modrinth for bonuses** you won't get from playing any other version.
* If you're not using one of our launchers, make sure you're using the most up to date versions of both Cobblemon and Minecraft
 * Cobblemon version: **1.7.3**
 * Minecraft version: **1.21.1**
 * The **Server IP** is **`play.mmorealms.gg`**
* You'll want to **look over all of the rules** on the server. You can access them [**HERE**](https://wiki.mmorealms.gg/cobblemon-wiki/server-rules) or by running the `/rules` command in-game.
* **If you require any assistance from Staff** then you'll need to **make a ticket** within our Official Discord Server via the [#ticket-support](https://discord.com/channels/1332431737694982209/1332431740563755106) channel.

### Getting Started

Once you are on the server, there is a few things you can do.

One of the first things you want to do is access the Trainer Kit for some bonus items to help you out. You can either do `/kit Trainer` or do `/kits` and hover over the Citrine Ball and left click on it to claim the kit.

This **kit can be redeemed once every day** so make sure to redeem it each day! **If you're using our Modrinth Modpack you'll get bonuses** including a daily spin which you'll also want to make sure to keep redeeming for extra gems.

If you're **linked to our Discord server**, then you can go ahead and claim the Discord kit via the same method for a **free shin**y but unfortunately this can **only be claimed once**.

### Claim your Starter

The next thing you'll want to do on the server is claim your starter. In order to claim your starter on the server, you'll want to press the `M` button while your party is empty which will bring up a start selection screen for you to choose the start you wish to obtain. You will **only be able to claim one starter** so be sure to **choose wisely**.

### Making your own Realm

You'll want to make your own realm on the server as this will be where you build your base, store your items and have a hub for your friends to play in. Making your own realm is incredibly easy as you can start doing this by doing `/realm` in-game and choose your own realm.

You **do not want to build within the wilds** since these **reset regularly** meaning any builds or item left in there through a wipe will be lost with **no way to obtain what was lost** in any form.

If you need help about creating your realm, or just want more information relating to it then please use our Realm Guide created!

### The Basics of Cobblemon

#### Healing Machine and PC

Now that you're in your own Realm with your starter, you'll want to start getting some of the basics including creating a PC and a Healing Machine.

Recipes for Healing Machine (Left) and PC (Right)

You'll want to craft a healing machine because it'll heal your party anytime your party has lost HP or fainted. While you can go to `/warp PokeCenter` to heal your party, it'll be more convenient for you to have a healing machine within your Realm so you don't have to keep teleporting back and forth. To craft a healing machine you'll need the following items:

* 4x Iron Ingot
* 2x Copper Ingot
* 1x Diamond
* 1x Revive
* 1x Ghast Tear

Place all the items as shown in the recipe above to craft the healing machine. Alternatively you can buy this from the **PokeMart** via `/shop`. Once you have placed a healing machine all you'll need to do is **right click** on it and it'll start an animation to heal your party.

Next up is the PC. You'll want to create a PC in order to move pokemon from your Party into your Pokemon Storage as the PC is the only way you can access these. If you have 6 pokemon within your party and then catch or obtain another pokemon then the Pokemon will instantly go into your PC. You have 100 boxes which holds 30 pokemon each so you have loads of space for Pokemon, and can customise each box to your liking. To craft a PC you'll need the following items:

* 4x Iron Ingot
* 2x Copper Ingot
* 2x Smooth Stone
* 1x Glass

Place all the items as shown in the recipe above to craft the PC. Alternatively you can buy this from the **PokeMart** via `/shop`. Once you have placed a PC all you'll need to do is **right click** on it and it'll open up your PC storage and all you will need to do is click on the pokemon you want to move from either your PC or Party into the slot of your choice..

#### Pokeballs

The next thing you're probably hoping to learn more about is how you go about crafting and collection Pokeballs on the server. You can **buy these** from our Pokemart via `/shop` but you can use the **guide found below** to learn **how to obtain all the items needed** as well as all the **recipes** for each different Pokeball found on the server.
