## How to Obtain Fossils In order to find Fossils you need to search for **Fossil Blocks** whilst mining underground, between Y-Level -64 and 100.

Upon mining a **Fossil Block** with a pickaxe, you will obtain 1 Covered Fossil. The number obtained can be increased through use of the Fortune enchantment.

The Fossil can be cleaned by being placed into a **Fossil Cleaner**, wiping off the dirt and revealing exactly what Fossil you have managed to find. With this clean Fossil, you can proceed with reviving it to get yourself the Ancient Pokemon.

## How to Revive Fossils ### Crafting the Fossil Machine Now that you have collected one or multiple fossils, you can now go ahead and start reviving them. You will however need to craft a **Fossil Machine** in order to start this process. To do so, you will specifically need to make the 4 components that make up the machine. Recipe's for these are shown below: #### Fossil Machine Top

Once you have crafted each of these items you'll now need to place them in a particular order within the crafting table to create the Fossil Machine itself.

### Operating the Fossil Machine Now that you have all the items needed to revive a fossil lets go over the process. You will want to `Right Click` the Fossil onto the Fossil Machine, which will beging the ressurection procedure. The process will be displayed on front of the machine as shown below.

From there it's ultimately just a waiting game. This **process will take a couple minutes minutes** but you'll know once it's complete as the display on your machine will mention such, as shown below:

All you need to to now is `Right Click` onto the **Fossil Machine** with the **Pokeball** you wish to have your Pokemon in and it'll instantly go into your party or PC and that's the whole process. If you wish to revive more fossils you will need to keep giving it Organic Materials per fossil. #### Gen 8 Fossil Pokemon (Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish & Arctovish) For the Gen 8 Fossil Pokemon **you will need to combine two different fossils** in order to gain one of these pokemon unlike all other fossils which you only need the one. It's the same process when you `Right Click` onto the Fossil Machine to place it in, you'll just need to do it again for the corresponding Pokemon you want.
